Basic Belief
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired. God reveals Himself to man through his Words.
God (Vajtswv)
There is one and only one living and true God. The eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
God the Father (Vajtswv Peb LeejTxiv)
God as Father reigns over His universe, creatures, and human history according to the purposes of His grace.
God the Son (Vajtswv Peb LeejTub)
Jesus Christ is Son of God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He was without sin, died on the cross, and made provision for the redemption of men from sin.
God the Holy Spirit (Vajtswv Tus Uas Yog Ntsujplig)
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. He lives among and empowers the believer and the church in worship, evangelism, and service.
Man (Neeg)
God created man in His own image and was perfect, but man sinned against God of his own free will and brought sin into the human race. Because man is sacred, as evident in that God created man in His own image, and in that Christ died for man, every man possesses dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.
Salvation (Vajtswv txojkev zamtxim rau neeg ntiajteb),
Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, sanctification, and glorification.
The Church
The church is the Lord Jesus Christ's body of baptized believers.
The Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
The family has been ordained as the foundational institution of human society by God. Marriage is the unity between one man and one woman in covenant commitment, under God, for a lifetime.
